Blaze Kills Two in Southern Spain

Wildfire kills two people in Spain .
The blaze has been recorded as the largest fire incident recorded by Catalan firefighters.
According to firefighters, the fire spread at a speed of 28 kilometers per hour. This is the fastest fire ever recorded in Europe. The two victims were a farmer and his worker who were near a vehicle near the village of Cosco in La Segarra County. General official Nuria Palo said the two dead were believed to have died while trying to escape from the farm. Two firefighters were also injured and hospitalized.
The fire burned 6,500 hectares (16,000 acres) and 14,000 people were ordered to stay at home as a precautionary measure.Rainfall helped firefighters contain the flames.
Firefighters announced this morning that the fire is now under control. The curfew was lifted late Tuesday night.
